Darth Maul: Apprentice - A Star Wars Fan-Film

I’m not afraid to admit that I love Star Wars Episode I, despite all the naysayers who claim it’s one of the worst of the George Lucas directed Star Wars prequels.

The final confrontation between Darth Maul, Qui-Gon Gin, and Obi-Wan Kenobi is one of Star Wars’ most epic Jedi versus Sith battles. The isolated dual between Qui-Gon and Maul as Obi-Wan looked on unable to assist his Jedi Master had a devastating effect. Not only for the story, but for me as well.

As it turns out, Obi-Wan avenges his fallen master. However, I hated that Darth Maul didn’t make it to the other prequels because he was an incredible sith and intriguing character.

Fortunately for me, a fan-film has been created that’s a prequel to the prequel.
