Matrix Motosports Web Banner Advertisement Campaign

My client, Matrix Motosports, asked me to create a Web banner ad promote their online store selling motorcycling racing and performance parts. This is the first in a series of banner ads that I will be working on over the upcoming weekend.

Challenging Limits

The challenge I faced with this design was compressing the file size to fit under the 100 k limit set by the site the advertisement is being placed on. I had to sacrifice image quality to do reduce it under the limit, but I am very satisfied with how the ad turned out.

Designing banner ads has turned out to be more challenging than I thought it would be before I started offering it as a service. The upcoming ads I’ll be working on will be smaller than the one displayed in this article, but will contain several “screens” to display the products Matrix Motosports is spotlighting.

I love a good challenge and value the work and trust Matrix Motosports provides me. I’m not a motorcyclist but love desiging and creating work for a industry that is completely different from lettering and designing for comic books.
