I’m gonna start doing a self-portrait once a month. This is to help me gauge how much I’m learning as I move closer to my goal of submitting a portfolio to
Pixar. I hoping my self-portraits will have more “life” to them. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
The image above is a couple of different styles. The one on the left is how I prefer to draw my self-portrait. The one on the right is incorporating more curves and a less stylistic approach. Plus it makes me look (or feel) older which isn’t cool since my 30th birthday is in one month.
