This is a drawing I did of my favorite comic book character. It turned out much better than I thought it would. I sat down and gave myself 15 minutes to sketch a pose, refine the pencil and then ink it using my Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens. I’m really pleased with the results.

I’ll be coloring the drawing later in the week and will post the results.

UPDATE (07/06/2007): The Acme Comics’ Dollar Bin is now just the Dollar Bin. We are no longer affiliated with Acme Comics and Records.

I recently started podcasting with some buddies of mine at my local comic book shop, Acme Comics and Records, in Columbia, South Carolina, USA. We have about 4-5 podcasts recorded and almost ready for uploading to the site I’m currently working on.

Don’t judge the design too harshly. I’ve just started on it and haven’t gotten all of the CSS styling and design completed. I’ll post more as I near the completion of the site.

NOTE: I did NOT draw/design the duck. That was already the shop’s logo before I visited the the first time.

This is the final poster design of the backpack I drew for the fundraiser. I blurred the text because I don’t like publishing who I’m employed with. Nothing serious, just a thing I have.

If you look closely at the soap dispenser you’ll notice that I added some liquid soap which was not present in the previous sample. You may want to click on the image to see a larger view.
